Indian Muslims staged protests against the Islamic State (ISIS) after the brutal Paris attack. The Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind, the largest Islamic organisation in the country, condemned the terror attacks on Tuesday and called for a nationwide protest on Wednesday to send a strong message against the Islamic State and express solidarity with the victims, reports The Telegraph.
Maulana Mahmood Madani, the general secretary of the Jamiat, told The Telegraph that the attacks were un-Islamic and there was no place for such acts in a civilised world.
