Every year, rains come pouring in and disrupt the lives of Mumbaikars, in a way that is not easy to deal with. Heavy traffic jams, crowded trains and already-terrible infrastructure are worsened. Certain areas in particular are always waterlogged, with not much change seen over the years.

Here are images of these areas over the last few years that show the manner in which Mumbai is affected by rain, with no attempt to actually improve the situation being made.
