As a patient of cerebral palsy (locomotor disability), each day brings a new set of physical and emotional challenges, along with an endless stream of emotions. This all somehow relates to the feeling of being static; of not being able to keep pace with the fast-moving world.

My handicap is always there; that, in turn, gives rise to uncertainty. Will I ever be able to achieve what I want to? Will I be able to find a companion, and even if I do, will I be able to do justice to her? These kind of questions haunt me on a daily basis. My mind soars high but my body fails to keep up.

Subconsciously I always tend to connect myself with a fence or a cage as it reminds me of my incompleteness as an individual, looking up at the sky always make me think of how I could liberate myself from the restrictions I have.

What comes to my rescue is the love and support of my family and friends that helps to overcome the complexities of life.
