Of Momos, Pork Chops: A Walk Through the Delicious North East Fest

The thing about cliches is that they’re most usually true. For instance, the one about food; where it serves as the ONE common unifier cutting across all regional, national, cultural lines… emerging as the strongest unit.

In a smog-infested, coughing, eye-gouging Delhi, nowhere was this more apparent than the North East Festival this weekend. The festival, into its fourth edition this year, spanned three days of fun activities, scrumptious food and eclectic music – all of which made for excellent visuals too!

The food stalls, which comprised food from the Seven Sisters, had a bounty of good food, great smells and excellent pictures to offer. Take a look at what we discovered, what made our olfactory senses explode and what had us stop to smell the pork just a minute too long:
