A Pakistani trooper with the Frontier Constabulary deployed as a security guard at the National Database and Registration Authority office was caught on camera slapping a Pakistani female journalist.
In a video footage shot by private TV channel K-21, Saima Kanwal was seen telling the guard to let go of the camera repeatedly, when he lost his temper and slapped her. Immediately after the incident, gun shots being fired are heard.
Kanwal was at the NDRA office to cover issues people face at the registration office, but the security guard tried to stop her from shooting.
Karachi Police has registered a case against the FC guard for aerial firing and assaulting a woman.
