Donald Trump is trending on social media again, for the same reasons he’s often trending on social media – his tweets.
President Trump has made headlines in the past for his controversial remarks and his sensitive, and often eloquently worded, tweets.
Like this one that spells honoured (or honored, if you’re American) perfectly..
Or this…
And, of course, the unforgettable ‘covfefe’ tweet (for which we’re still waiting for an explanation).
But Trump, who is on vacation in Florida, as CNN reported, in his latest tweet, welcomed global warming, stating that the East Coast of the United States could really use some warmth, given the apparent cold wave it currently faces.

It goes on to add that long-term indicators of climate change have also been on the rise. These include increasing carbon dioxide emissions and concentration levels, a rise in sea level, and ocean acidification. Decidedly, more than a few people took to expressing their outrage over the tweet.
But, it isn’t the first time the US President has rubbished climate change. It certainly isn’t the first time he tweeted something controversial, and we bet it won’t be the last.
