On the first anniversary of Paris terror attack, The Quint is republishing this poignant photo feature.

A day after the deadly attacks by militants, Paris woke up in a state of shock, fear and mourning. In the six separate but coordinated attacks that happened on Friday, 13th of November, at least 129 innocent people lost their lives and many more were injured as cafés were bombed and helpless civilians were shot at with automatic weapons.
