Indian-American actor and designer Waris Ahluwalia who was not allowed to board a Mexico City-to-New York flight because he refused to remove his turban, says he’s satisfied with an apology by the airline, Aeromexico.
Ahluwalia took to Instagram to express his satisfaction and thanked Aeromexico for “understanding the importance of religious and cultural tolerance.” He said he was “happy” they were able to “come up with a resolution together.”
