- A second flight recorder, containing data from the aircraft systems, has been retrieved from the crashed EgyptAir flight MS804 wreckage on Friday.
- One of the black boxes of the flight which crashed on 19 May on it way from Paris to Cairo killing all 66 people on board, was retrieved on Thursday.
- The two black box recorders are crucial to explain what went wrong. No group has claimed responsibility for bringing down the plane, but investigation sources have said that it was too early to rule out any cause, including terrorism.
