July 2016
Markle recalls in an interview with the BBC: "I didn't know much about him, and so the only thing that I had asked her when she said that she wanted to set us up, was, I had one question. I said, 'Well is he nice?'" They meet on two more dates in July and then Harry invited Markle to join him on a trip to Botswana.

Markle joins the queen and other senior royals at the Commonwealth Day service at London's Westminster Abbey. Markle makes her first public appearance with Queen Elizabeth II.

Markle appears for the last time in the U.S. television series "Suits" and bids farewell with an on-screen wedding during the season-seven finale.
