Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his condolences to the family of Raghavendran Ganeshan, the Infosys employee who lost his life in the Brussels attack last week.

PM Modi tweeted about the Brussels victim on his official account.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said she was deeply pained over the death of Ganeshan. She tweeted multiple times, offering her condolences to his family.

The Indian Embassy in Brussels said the mortal remains of Raghavendran are being handed over to his family to take back to India. Ganeshan had been missing in Brussels since the deadly terror attacks, until his body was found and he was declared dead on 28 March.

Infosys expressed its condolences, and said it would provide all possible support to the family.

It is with deep regret that we confirm the passing of our colleague Raghavendran Ganeshan in the terrible attack in Brussels. Our thoughts and prayers are with Raghavendran’s family and with those who were injured or lost a loved one in these attacks. We will continue to provide all possible support to his family in this hour of grief. We would request the privacy of Raghavendran’s family during this difficult time.
