He’s Coming, I’m Gonna Die: Orlando Victim’s Last Texts to His Mom

Fifty people were killed and 53 were injured in the shooting, which is the deadliest in modern US history.

Eddie Justice (30), who texted his mother from a bathroom during the Orlando shootings, did not survive the massacre, city officials confirmed on 12 June.

Justice was hiding away from the shooter, Omar Mateen, in the women’s bathroom when he started texting his mother, Mina Justice, asking for help.

“Mommy I love you. In club they shooting. He’s coming, I’m gonna die,” Justice wrote to his mother. 

50 people were killed and 53 were injured at the popular gay night club in Orlando, in an incident which is being deemed the deadliest shooting in United States’ history.

Omar Mateen, opened fire at the club and was killed in an armed exchange with the SWAT team.
