The father of the suspect in the Orlando Mass Shooting, Seddique Mateen, was seen sitting right behind Hillary Clinton at her rally in Kissimmee. For over 20 minutes, he sat right behind the Democrat Presidential nominee, at an occassion where she mourned the victims who were killed at Pulse nightclub and laid out her policies.

Spotted by Tory Dunnan, a WPTV reporter, Mateen was seen holding a pro-Clinton sign and talking to the press.

Clinton is good for the United States, versus Donald Trump. I was invited by the Democratic Party; I’m a member.

When asked about his son Omar Mateen who killed 49 people, he said that he’d wished his son had joined the army and fought the ISIS instead.

Clinton’s campaign did not know he was present at the rally, and were definitely unaware of the fact that he was sitting right behind her and sharing a frame.

The rally was a 3,000-person, open-door event for the public. This individual wasn’t invited as a guest, and the campaign was unaware of his attendance until after the event.

However, it was shocking to learn that in 2015, Mateeen donated $250 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Reasonably, this would reasonably make him an individual who was personally invited to Democratic rallies.

Mateen spent time and money in a bid to become famous. He paid to commentate on a show in Afghanistan. On this, he announced a fringe campaign for the presidential office and offered support for the Taliban. He travelled to Washington and promoted his view of Pakistan being a hotspot for terrorism as well as extended his support for Afghanistan.

He shared photographs with Congressmen and often held up large banners with his opinions written on them.

Clinton had visited the Pulse nightclub in July to offer her condolences and met with the family members of the victims. She even held a town hall event with LGBT leaders.

After the news of Mateen’s presence at the rally broke, many conservative pundits thought that Donald Trump should make it an issue in the campaign. Trump’s running mate Mike Pence was disappointed that the media let all issues regarding Hillary Clinton slide.

The father of the very radical Islamic terrorist who murdered 49 Americans attended the rally, was on television through most of the rally sitting behind Hillary Clinton, and he said he was there because he supports Hillary Clinton, because she’s, quote, good on national security. Now the media’s not talking about that, I expect, because Hillary Clinton’s been a disaster on national security.

Hillary Clinton distanced herself from Mateen’s comment and her campaign. After Trump alluded to Mr. Mateen’s presence in an interview, Clinton’s spokesman Nick Merill emailed reporters to share her views.

Hillary Clinton touched upon the Orlando shooting and offered her support.

“I know how many people, loved ones and friends are still grieving,” she said of the victims’ families. “And I want them to know that we will be with you.”
