Gunman Was Accused of Sexual Harassment
The gunman who shot one woman doctor dead and injured six others at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital was forced from the hospital because of sexual harassment accusations.
After carrying out the shooting, Henry Bello tried to set himself on fire and then fatally shot himself.
According to the officials, Bello used an AR-15 rifle in the attack on the 16th and 17th floors of the hospital.

Shooter Killed 1 And Wounded 6 Before Apparently Taking His Own Life
According to the authorities, the shooter killed one person and wounded six others before apparently taking his own life.
The shooter, who used to work at the hospital, had a rifle hidden under his lab coat. He was identified by law enforcement officials as Dr Henry Bello, a family medicine physician at the hospital.
It was not immediately clear why he was no longer working at the hospital. The officials were not authorised to discuss the still-unfolding investigation and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Shooter Who Fired Inside Bronx Lebanon Hospital is Dead
The shooter who fired inside New York’s Bronx Lebanon Hospital, injuring several people, is dead, according to the New York Police Department.
Police had conducted a room-by-room search, telling civilians to turn off the lights and remain in place, according to an account posted on Twitter by Felix Puno, who identified himself as patient in the radiology department on the fourth floor of the hospital.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio was briefed on the shooting and was on his way to the scene, the mayor's Twitter account said.
3 Doctors Reportedly Wounded From Shooting Inside New York Hospital
Local media reported that three doctors were wounded, while a gunman remained inside the building of New York City’s Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
The New York Times, citing information furnished by the city Fire Department, reported that three physicians had been shot, and that at least one of the wounded doctors was being treated by people inside the hospital.
CBS News reported that the gunman, believed to be a former hospital employee, had a rifle and had barricaded himself inside the building.
The local ABC affiliate reported that two people had been shot, but added there was no word on their condition.
The ABC affiliate said both victims were believed to be men, and that police officers were going from floor to floor inside the hospital looking for the suspect.
On Twitter, the New York Police Department told members of the public to avoid the area around the hospital, located in the borough of the Bronx at 1650 Grand Concourse.
An official who answered the phone at the hospital said she had no immediate information.
