- A private chopper crashed in the forest area in Nepal’s Nuwakot district on Monday, killing seven people, including a new-born baby and the pilot.
- The 9N-AKA Fishtail Air helicopter was flying the baby and her mother to Kathmandu for treatment before it lost contact with air traffic control tower at around 1 pm local time.
- A Nepal Army team and other rescue officials have been deployed at the crash site, said Devendra KC, spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (Caan).
