An official statement has announced that forces led by Saudi Arabia and contributed to by the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan, Kuwait, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and several other nations will reportedly come together in northern Saudi Arabia for a military exercise that is expected to last for 18 days.
According to a report by Michael Snyder in Mensnewsdaily, 350,000 soldiers, 20,000 tanks, 2,450 warplanes and 460 military helicopters will be involved in the military exercise that is being called “Northern Thunder”. During this time the airspace over northern Saudi Arabia will be closed to air traffic. The report adds that it will be the largest military exercise in the history of the region.
With rumours flying around that Saudi Arabia and Turkey are preparing for a massive ground invasion of Syria, this “military exercise” could very well turn into a world war in the blink of an eye. The report explains that a “military exercise” has been the most common excuse to gather forces for an invasion, because no country would openly come out and say, “Forces are moving into position for war”.
If the rumours are true, the invasion could start within a few weeks, the report adds, with the main goal being to take out the Assad regime before Russia has a chance to respond.
