Nine people were shot dead in Munich on Friday after an 18-year-old Iranian-German rampaged through a Munich shopping centre killing nine and injuring many more.
Munich Police have issued a cautious all-clear on Saturday but the wounds of the ghastly attack will take time to heal. Despite calls from authorities urging for the resumption of normal life, Munich was left grieving for the lives it lost.
Father Roams Streets With a Picture of His Deceased Son
Among the dead is the 21-year-old son of a policeman, Naim Zabergja, who was seen on Saturday holding a picture of his son, Dijamant Zabergja, at the place where he was shot.
The pain of losing his child to the unexpected terrorist attack was visible in Naim’s eyes.
He had earlier taken to Facebook to express his sorrow. In a post he wrote, “With great sadness I want to inform you that my son Dijamant Zabergja, 21, was killed yesterday in Munich.”
