  • A server crash created major delays at one of America’s busiest airports, New York’s JFK International Airport. All operations were stalled at Terminal 7 on Sunday.

  • The computer system used to check-in passengers began to malfunction. Incidentally, it was not a TSA issue, but a private server that created the problem. As a result, passengers were being checked-in by hand and issued handwritten boarding passes.

  • About 1,500 people were to be checked-in during the time of the server malfunction.
