  • The latest in a series of suspected Islamist attacks in Bangladesh, machete-wielding assailants hacked to death a village doctor and wounded a university teacher in western Bangladesh on Friday.


  • The attackers rode a motorcycle, which they used to block the victims, Mir Sanaur Rahman and Saifuzzaman, before hacking them to death, local police chief Mohammad Sahabuddin Chowdhury revealed.
