Politics is intriguing and a regular conversational topic. People often pride themselves for having evolved political views. But are you being true to your actual political inclinations? Now a test can help you determine which side of the spectrum you fall on.
A study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology conducted a circle test. According to the findings, those of us who view the structure as a circle are more likely to have a liberal political view.
These “circle-indentifiers” are also the ones who are helpful and have strong views about governments providing aid to the homeless and unemployed. What’s more, they also agree with same-sex marriages and marijuana legalisation, among other things.
India could sure use more “circle-indentifiers”.
For those who do not see it as a circle, the reading is obviously opposite – if you do not see a circle, you must have a conservative political view, and as an extension be strongly supportive of having robust military as a priority.
Want to know if you’re a liberal or conservative? Test yourself to identify your political inclination. And please, do not cheat.
