WHAT WE FOUND OUT

We did a frame-to-frame analysis using InVID, a video verification tool, and then reverse-searched each frame on Yandex. This led us to a website that suggested that the video is from Cuba.

Consequently, we searched on Google using keywords ‘Cuba video school children dancing’ and found an article published by Daily Mail on 13 April 2016. The article claimed that the video was shot in Camaguey in Cuba.

As per local media reports, the father of one of the boys seen in the video had uploaded the footage. The original video was later taken down, reported Daily Mail.

So, the claim that the video shows children in Indian schools is completely false.
