A video shared by one Ankur Singh on Twitter claims Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh East Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who was addressing a press conference after the Pulwama attack, which left 37 CRPF jawans dead, was seen laughing at the event.

The message along with the video reads "Priyanka Vadra was laughing at press conference 😡😡 Such vultures"

TRUE OR FALSE?

The video has been cropped to make it appear as though Vadra was laughing at the press meet.

However, in the following video, it is clear that Vadra did not do any such thing as claimed by Singh in his tweet.

A regular purveyor of fake news, it is important to note that Singh is followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In reality, Vadra had cancelled her scheduled press conference in the wake of the attack. "In the wake of the unfortunate Pulwama attack, I don't think it is appropriate to talk (about) politics right now," she said.

She also offered her condolences to the families of the jawans who were killed in the attack. A CRPF convoy of 78 vehicles, carrying 2,547 CRPF personnel, was attacked at 2:03 pm at Awantipora in J&K’s Pulwama district on Thursday. Dar, allegedly driving a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives, rammed into the convoy.

Following Gandhi’s short interaction, the meeting that was also attended by Congress General Secretary for UP West Jyotiraditya Scindia, observed a two-minute-long silence.
