TRUE OR FALSE ?
On conducting a reverse image search on Google The Quint found out that the image is doctored.
The person sitting beside Imran Khan in the original picture is his second wife Reham Khan.
This picture was in turn traced back to a news bulletin by 92 News HD from July 2015, shared on siasat.pk, a discussion forum in Pakistan. According to the bulletin, the photos are from a Sehri feast at Pakistani minister Faisal Wada’s residence.
WHERE IS PM MODI’s PHOTO FROM?
On cropping the image of Prime Minister Modi from the doctored image and conducting a reverse search image, The Quint found out that Prime Minister Modi was never captured wearing a green skull cap as shown in the viral image.
The original picture of PM Modi was traced back to The IndianExpress’s photo gallery from 13 November 2013.
The picture, taken from when Modi was Gujarat’s chief minister, shows him in his residence in Gandhinagar. The picture has been attributed to Javed Raja and is from a lunch meeting with journalists.
Clearly, the picture has been doctored and used by people to fuel their agendas.
