TRUE OR FALSE?

Both the claim and counter-claim are false. The ambulance shown in the video was neither stopped for Tiwari, nor was it stopped for a Congress rally.

An investigation by fake news debunker SMHoaxslayer revealed that the video is from 1 April 2017. The video was originally shared by one Preet Narula on Facebook, who while on his way to work, noticed that the police had put up barricades near the Rajghat flyover for VVIP movement owing to the Malaysian Prime Minister’s convoy.

The barricades had effectively blocked out an ambulance’s movement, which Narula noticed and filmed. Narwal’s video captured the cops arguing with the public who had let the ambulance pass only for it to be blocked by the barricades. Eventually, the police is seen letting the ambulance through.

The Times of India had also carried an article on the entire incident on 5 April.
