TRUE OR FALSE?

Contrary to the claim it was shared with, the video is not from Japan but Mongolia. The video dates back 17 May 2015, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mongolia and participated in a community reception and yoga event organised by The Art of Living Foundation.

WHAT WE FOUND OUT

We broke the video into key frames using the InVid extension and conducted a reverse image search on Yandex, which led us to a Youtube video uploaded on PM Modi’s channel.

The video had been streamed live on 17 May 2015 and is titled ‘PM Modi at the Community Reception & Yoga Event organised by 'Art of Living' in Mongolia’.

The Prime Minister's website also carries the text of his speech at the event, where he mentions he was urged to visit the spiritual community in Mongolia by The Art of Living Foundation’s Sri Sri Ravishankar.
