Two girl students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, who went missing from Greater Noida on 23 October, were traced to Patna, the police said.
Stuti, a Class IX student, and Anjali, a Class X student, left home at 7 pm to get photocopies of their project from the Pi Sector and did not return home, they said.
Their parents had lodged a complaint with the Kasna Police Station and a case was registered, they said.
The missing girls, Anjali and Stuti, have been found in in Patna. They had called their parents and informed them that they were in Danapur. One of the girl’s relative lives there. The parents have gone to bring them back.SP (Rural) Suniti Singh to PTI
Danapur is a satellite town of Patna in Bihar.
“Once they are back, we will be able to know how they reached there. It is very sensitive as the matter related to girls. Police have to tread very cautiously,” she said.
Stuti's father works as a scientist at the NIC and Anjali’s father works in a private company. Both the girls lived in Informatics Society with their respective families.
