Ashwin Patel and Hardik Patel hail from the same community and espouse the same cause of reservation for the Patidars, but they don’t really have much else in common. Ashwin has been at loggerheads with Hardik over the past two years, with their political differences splitting the Patidar camp.

Ashwin’s resentment towards Hardik, and their rivalry surfaced most visibly earlier this week, after an alleged ‘sex clip’ of Hardik was leaked online.
