Sasikala Seeks Time on Health Grounds
The MLAs who support Sasikala will be staying back at Golden Bay Resorts on Tuesday. She is yet to surrender and has sought time from the court on health grounds. she is likely to surrender on Wednesday.
Sasikala loyalist and member of AIADMK, Gokul Indra told CNN News 18:
We are waiting for a word from the court. Sasikala continues to be the General Secretary of the party. We don’t know when she will leave for Bengaluru.

Sasikala Speaks Again From Portico of Veda Nilayam
Speaking to the party cadre from the portico at Veda Nilayam, Poes Garden, Sasikala looked resilient and confident:
I’m not going anywhere I will always be in your hearts. No need to be afraid. We must do good for the people and we must only think about that. Amma was like ‘singam’. Continue to smile while working. I’m not afraid. Wherever I am I will work for the party. Please do not cry. Request you to smile and not cry.
Sasikala's Emotional Speech Before Leaving the Resort
Before leaving the resort where the AIADMK MLAs in Sasikala’s camp are lodged, Sasikala made an emotional speech.
I feel so satisfied that despite facing troubles, the MLAs are supporting me. I’m sure we’ll get the invitation (to form the government) as soon as possible as we have been patient.
Breaking down as she left for Poes Garden, she said:
No force can separate me from AIADMK. No matter where I’ll be, I’ll always think about the party.
Referring to the DA case in which she has been convicted, she assured the MLAs that she would ‘take care of it.’
DA case was filed by DMK, I’ll handle this. You (MLAs) have to remain resolute and make sure people question DMK’s existence.
