Days after Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani publicly endorsed a Congress candidate, his son, Anant, was spotted at a public rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, 26 April.
According to news agency ANI, Anant was seen stepping out of a vehicle at the rally venue.
Damage Control or a Hand in Each Finger?
While it is not clear whether Anant was there to officially lend his support to the campaign, many on Twitter saw this as a damage control exercise after father, Mukesh, created ripples in the political world by his open endorsement of Milind Deora, the Congress Lok Sabha candidate from South Mumbai.
