The voter turnout in the final phase of Gujarat Assembly elections stood at 68.70 percent. Voting came to an end at 5 pm on Thursday, 14 December. A total of 851 candidates were in the fray for 93 seats in north, west and central parts of Gujarat in the second phase.
The high-voltage campaigning in the state ended on 12 December. The results will be declared on 18 December.

The final voter turnout in both phases of the Gujarat elections stood at 67.4 percent. This is considerably lower than the 71.32 percent recorded in the 2012 polls.

The final voter turnout in the final phase of elections stood at 68.70 percent. The turnout was lower than the 2012 Assembly elections, where 71.85 percent voters exercised their right to franchise.
