As Prime Minister Narendra Modi started speaking in the Lok Sabha on Friday, 20 July, in response to the no-confidence motion moved by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the Congress party’s Twitter handle countered him with ‘#ModiLiesInParliamen’ tweets.
In an attempt to check the prime minister’s speech, Congress took out specific issues and tweeted alleged facts.
Some of these issues include, PM Modi’s foreign policy, statements made by him on internal security policies and Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme, among others.
