Vijay Rupani took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second time on 26 December. He was sworn-in along with his deputy Nitin Patel, eight Cabinet Ministers and 10 Ministers of State.
- The Cabinet Ministers who took oath were Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, RC Faldu, Kaushik Patel, Saurabh Patel, Vestabhai Vasava, Vithalbhai Radadiya, Dilipkumar Thakor and Ishwarbhai Parmar
- The Council of Ministers took oath in the presence of PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah
- Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Ram Vilas Paswan, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia, and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar were also present

Apart from the CM and Deputy CM, there were eight Cabinet Ministers and 10 Ministers of State who were sworn-in.
The Cabinet Ministers who took oath were Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, RC Faldu, Kaushik Patel, Saurabh Patel, Vestabhai Vasava, Vithalbhai Radadiya, Dilipkumar Thakor and Ishwarbhai Parmar.
The Ministers of State, who were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor OP Kohli, were Pradipsinh Jadeja, Parthabhai Patel, Jaydrathsinh Parmar, Nanubhai Patkar, Ramanlal Nanubhai Patkar, Parsottambhai Solanki, Ishwarsinh Patel, Gopalbhai Ahir, Kishore Khanani, Bachubhai Maganbhai Khabad and Vibhavari Dave.

After the oath-taking ceremony, Modi - who was Gujarat’s CM between 2001 and 2014, went nostalgic and shared pictures of the ceremonies when he took oath in the past.
He also assured the people of Gujarat that the BJP government will leave no stone unturned in further developing the state, which the party has ruled since 1995.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP chief Amit Shah also posted congratulatory tweets.
Diversity in the Cabinet
In the newly sworn-in Gujarat Council of Ministers, six Patidars leaders have been inducted along with one five ministers from Other Backward Class (OBC), three Scheduled Tribes (STs), three Kshatriyas and one Scheduled Caste (SC), reported ANI.
Notably, there is only one woman in the Council - Minister of State Vibhavariben Dave, who is also a Brahmin.
