As Jayalalithaa Passes Away at 68, Twitter Mourns Amma’s Death

Tributes continued to pour in for Amma with DMK chief M Karunanidhi, PM Modi among others condoling her death.

Jayaraman Jayalalithaa, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was declared dead by Apollo hospital in Chennai where she suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday night. Apollo hospital made the announcement late on Monday night. O Panneerselvam took charge as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Seven-day state mourning will be observed from 6 December.
