An online and print magazine called GOOD has created and published an animated video to show us what the world looks like with 100 people. The data procured from the Central Intelligence Agency website might just shock you. The video consists of data on religion, who makes how much money, demographics, and literacy to name a few.

Population

Looks like us Asians trump this chart with being 60 percent of the population, if there are only 100 people on earth.

Religion

The number of unaffiliated and atheists would account to number three on this list.

Language

With the data presented, the majority of people would speak Mandarin, only five people would speak English, followed by four who would speak Hindi.

Literacy Rate

In this hypothetical 100 population world, only 14 people won’t be able to read or write. Now think of this number in comparison to the worlds real population of 7.125 billion.

Access to Clean Water

100 people or seven billion, water, in a lot of places, is taken for granted. Access to water maybe easier than having access to CLEAN water. So think twice before you waste water or anything for that matter.

Access to Internet

This will blow your mind.

In this day and age, you would think everyone has a phone, a laptop, or any device that lets you be connected to the world. For example, you are currently reading this thanks to the internet.

But going back to this hypothetical, predictive and slightly easier world, 56 out of 100 people will not have access to the internet. Where will we get our information from if without the internet? *Dramatic sigh*
