Starting June 1, 2015, Global Positioning System, or GPS tracking devices have been made mandatory in all public vehicles operating in Delhi. GPS allows for the tracking of vehicle locations on a map. The step covers the entire fleet of auto-rickshaws, buses - both private and government, feeder vehicles and local transit vehicles.
The move has been hailed as both positive, and negative, depending on whom you speak to. Watch drivers and commuters talk about their views on GPS installation.
