At least 15 passengers were injured and a DTC bus driver was killed after a truck rammed into it at New Delhi’s ITO area in the early hours on Tuesday, 26 February.
The accident took place when the bus was travelling to Uttam Nagar from Anand Vihar, ANI reported.
Eyewitnesses and the conductor of the bus claim that the truck, which was moving on the wrong side of the road, rammed into the bus as soon as it crossed the ITO flyover.
The bus driver and other injured passengers were immediately shifted to a hospital. The driver succumbed to his injuries soon after being admitted.
