Two men have been arrested by the Mumbai police on Tuesday for attacking and stabbing a toll collector at the Bandra-Worli sea link. The incident occurred at 7:30 pm on Monday.
The toll operatior Kiran Chouhan was reportedly stabbed for stopping the men in the car for going past the booth without paying the toll.
Chouhan has been admitted at Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, and is fighting for his life, reported Hindustan Times.
According to the report, an argument broke out between Rahul Rege, Paleshwar Chavan, and the toll collector, following which Paleshwar took out a knife and stabbed the collector.
The duo have been booked under Sections 326, 323, 504 and 34 of Indian Penal Code, reported India Today.
