Three Indian Institutes of Management have been ranked among the top 50 institutes for ‘Masters in Management’ in the rankings released on Tuesday, 28 November, by the QS World University Rankings.
IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta secured the 22nd, 23rd, and 46th spots respectively, in the ranking compiled for the first time in such a category by the firm.
The other rankings released by it were for the programmes in Masters in Business Analytics, Masters in Finance, and Global MBA.
While Indian institutes failed to feature in the rankings for ‘Masters in Business Analytics’ and ‘Masters in Finance’ categories, they bagged three spots among the top 100 institutes in the ‘Global MBA’ category.
Further, in the rankings for the ‘Global MBA’ category, IIM Calcutta found a spot among the 121-130 top institutes, while the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research was placed in the 201+ rank range.
In the regional category – composed of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand – for ‘Global MBA’ rankings, three Indian institutes featured among the top 15.
IIM Calcutta – not in the top 100 – also found place at 18, regionally, in the ‘Global MBA’ category.
