A video of Burhan Wani, 21-year-old Leader of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, sermonising to people, especially youth and the state police, has been trending on social media.

The 21-year-old commander in his video message urges the youth to join the outfit.
Earlier in July, a top commander of the Indian Army GOC Subrata Saha expressed concern over ‘any youth’ joining militancy in Kashmir. The video, apparently, poses a new worry to the security in the valley as more youth may get lured into joining the militants.
A police top official, however, told the Quint that the video will have no impact on youth; his ‘good looks’ may make him popular among a handful of youth but not his activities.
