- On Thursday, the Supreme Court directed UP Minister Azam Khan to file an affidavit with an apology for his insensitive remark on Bulandshahr rape case.
- The apex court had on 29 August taken note of the controversial remarks of Khan that the gangrape case was a “political conspiracy”, while staying the CBI probe in the case.
- The next hearing of the case is due on 7 December.
