A nine-member team of the CBI has questioned Mikhail Bora in Guwahati in the Sheena Bora murder case. The CBI has also conducted searches at nine places: three in Mumbai, two in Kolkata, two in Goa, one in Guwahati and one in Chindwara, Madhya Pradesh.

Mikhail was interrogated for around five hours. Investigators say that he was cooperative and passed on some crucial leads during the questioning. From the beginning of the investigation Mikhail has claimed that his sister, Sheena, was murdered by their mother, Indrani Mukerjea, who also allegedly attempted to poison him.

Earlier, the CBI had extensively interrogated Indrani’s husband, Peter Mukerjea, although he is not an accused in the case. Others questioned include Peter Mukerjea’s son, Rahul Mukerjea and Indrani’s daughter, Vidhie, as well Sanjeev Khanna and Shyam Rai, both accused in the case.
