Days after veteran Parliamentarian Sharad Yadav commented on South Indian women, calling them ‘dark-skinned’, his daughter Suhasini has spoken out in her father’s defence.
Speaking to CNN-IBN Suhasini said that “her father has not said anything wrong and he will not apologise.”
The JD(U) Chairman has refused to apologise claiming that he was only trying to bring out the social and cultural bias for fair skin in India.
His Party has also stood behind him.
