The Gurugram Police on Sunday, 26 May, raided a building in Sushant Lok Phase-3 Sector 57 and arrested 24 people, including 6 women, for their alleged involvement in flesh trade, a police spokesperson said.
According to the police, a team from the Sector 56 police station raided the spot after a woman officer of the Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force received a tip-off.

Out of the 24 people, 1 man was arrested from the lobby of the house, 2 nabbed from the hall, and the rest of them arrested from different rooms of the houses, reported Hindustan Times.
However, Rajiv Yadav, the main suspect, who had rented the house and his accomplice Harish, managed to escape.

Action Taken by Police
A case was registered against the accused persons under various sections of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956 at Sector 56 police station.
All the 24 arrested were produced in a district court on Sunday, 26 May, and were sent to Bhondsi Jail, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
