Kerala HC Judge, Justice B Kemal Pasha, on Monday said Saritha Nair’s statement alleging that the Kerala CM sexually abused her, was politically motivated.
Pasha was hearing Saritha’s petition asking for a CBI inquiry in the Solar Scam.
While dismissing the petition, Pasha asked how the accused can ask for a CBI inquiry and said that it was politics. He also asked her to refrain from wasting the court’s time as there were many serious cases pending.
He said that the timing of Saritha’s allegations was suspect, since she was petitioning against the CM ahead of the elections.

On Sunday, following Asianet’s broadcast of those letters, Saritha admitted on air of writing those letters where she said that she was sexually abused by Kerala CM Oommen Chandy, after having categorically denied it on more than one occasion in the past.
Recently, the judge had made news when he said that Muslim Personal Law was discriminatory against women.
