‘Like a Blonde’: Cong Spokesperson’s Remark on PM Modi Draws Ire

“He has white hair. But he sounds more like a blonde,” Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha wrote on Twitter.

Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha recently courted controversy on Twitter when he compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a "blonde", responding to which, several users called out his sexism and misogyny.

In a tweet indirectly referring to PM Modi, posted on Thursday, 28 March, Jha said, "He has white hair. But he sounds more like a blonde."

He soon faced a backlash, though he has not deleted his tweet yet.
