Tejashwi Yadav, the younger son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, tied the knot in Delhi on Thursday, 9 December.
The 31-year-old politician got married to his long-time friend Rachel.
The engagement and wedding ceremony were held in Delhi’s Sainik Farms area on Thursday.
Tejashwi's elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav reached the venue late as he was stuck in the city traffic.
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav also attended the wedding with his wife.
Tejashwi is the youngest of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s seven children. Currently, he is the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He has also been the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
Tejashwi took over the Rashtriya Janata Dal party in the absence of his father Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had been behind bars over several convictions until he was granted bail earlier this year.
