4. Scribe murder: HC seeks status report from UP Govt

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday directed the Uttar Pradesh government to file a status report within one week in the murder of journalist Jagendra Singh in Shahjahanpur, in which a SP Minister and five others have been booked. The court asked government counsel to inform it about the stage of investigation by June 24.

Indian-American Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said he would make a final decision today whether to seek Republican nomination to run for US president in 2016.
