With the probe into the Corporate Espionage case deepening, the crime branch on Thursday arrested two more people in connection with the case.
The crime branch first arrested Jitendar Nagpal, a personal assistant to a joint secretary in forest and environment ministry, followed by the arrest of Vipan Kumar, PA to a UPSC member.
Nagpal has been accused of passing sensitive documents to energy consultant Lokesh Shama, who was arrested earlier.
With 15 people having been arrested so far, today’s arrests come just a couple of days after Lokesh Sharma - whom the police claim to be one of the kingpins of the racket - was nabbed by the Delhi Police.
The Delhi Police also claimed that Nagpal had links in other ministries as well from where the documents were procured and passed on.
