Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, on Tuesday, has assured that Pakistan is lending whatever help it can in the Pathankot case probe. Singh was speaking to media persons when he said, “Pakistan Govt has assured us of action, we should wait.”
He further said that till the time that assurance from the Pakistan government is not broken, there is no need to react.
Pakistan ki sarkar ne humein aashwast kiya hai, itni jaldi avishwaas karne ka koi kaaran nahi hai (Pakistan government has assured us of action. So there’s no need to mistrust so soon).
However, not everyone is happy about Singh’s trust on Pakistan – including its own ally Shiv Sena.
Pakistani authorities, on Monday, made arrests in the Pathankot attack probe after raids in Gujranwala, Jhelum and Bahawalpur districts of the country.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered a Joint Investigation Team of Intelligence Bureau, Inter-Services Intelligence, Military Intelligence, Federal Investigation Agency, and Police to thoroughly probe the Pathankot attack links to Pakistan.
