PM Modi Embarks on Two-Day Visit to Nepal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, 11 May, left on a two-day visit to Nepal, where he is expected to hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli. Modi is also expected to flag off a bus from Janakpur, which is Sita’s birthplace, to Ayodhya.
Modi was received by Defence Minister Ishwor Pokharel and Chief Minister of Province-2, Lalbabu Raut upon arrival at Janakpur.
This is the PM’s third visit to the neighbouring country.
